Our third day at Magic Kingdom started early at 8am. We were there for Mickey's greeting before opening the park. Then we headed in to meet some more characters. Chip and Dale, Daisy, Pinnochio and Gepetto, plus Jiminy Cricket were at the front of the park. Then Jeff raced back to get in line for Ariel - her line quickly gets to be over an hour long even when the park isn't crowded. After meeting Ariel and riding the teacups and Indy speedway one more time, the girls were in meltdown mode so we headed back to the hotel for a rest. We planned to go back that afternoon for dinner with Pooh and the parade and fireworks. We met a few more characters, went to the Tike room, country bear Jamboree, Hall of Presidents and rode the Carpets of Alladin and Astro Orbitor. There were a lot of crowds that night and we barely found a place to watch the parade. Jake enjoyed it but then just couldn't stay awake for the Fireworks. Jeff ended up holding him for over an hour - his arms were so sore they went numb. Neither girl was afraid of the fireworks (they are scared of the ones our neighbors do) and Rachel especially loved them. We couldn't convince her to leave early and beat the crowds back. It was 10pm when we got back to the hotel - good thing they had gotten a nap that day.

Magic Kingdom Day 2
The only ride we rode on day 2 was Dumbo, since we had a few minutes between breakfast and our makeovers. Dumbo is the slowest loading ride in the park, so although there weren't many long lines, Dumbo was usually one of them. Unfortunately, we didn't get to do it twice. And since Daddy was running back to the locker, he didn't get a chance to ride at all. All 3 kids crammed in with me. After the makeovers, we went to story time with Belle, watched the Dream Along with Mickey show, and the Woody Hoedown. We met a number of characters that day including Pooh, Tigger and Darby, Woody from Toy Story, Timon and Rafiki from Lion King, Marie from Aristocats and Malificient from Sleeping Beauty. I was surprised that Reagan was brave enough to meet Malificient since she had been scared of her during the Mickey show and in fact, was "ready to go". Guess she wasn't quite as scary in person. Before going back to the hotel, we took the train around the park. (Jeff and I went back that night to ride the rides that the kids couldn't or were afraid of.)
Bibbity Bobbity Boutique Makeovers
After breakfast with the Princesses, it was time to get hair, nails and makeup done like a princess in the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. The girls each picked out their own color eye shadow and nail polish (things mommy doesn't allow at home). Then they each picked out their own crowns. Reagan picked out one with blue in it to match her dress. Rachel said she wanted the "all diamond one" - me too! They didn't complain once about having their hair pulled tight into a bun and hairsprayed down like cement. And they were sure to not mess up their nails. The hair dresser then waved a magic wand over them and sprinkled glitter in their hair. (Almost a week later and it still isn't completely out. )
Cindrella's Breakfast
Cinderella's Breakfast in the castle is the hardest ticket in town - I made reservations at exactly 7am Eastern time 6 months prior to the date. The girls dressed in their princess outfits - Reagan in Cinderella and Rachel in Belle. (Rachel's favorite princess is Aurora but her pink dress is long sleeve - much to hot for September in Florida). They got to see Cinderella again (as well as Belle and Aurora), plus meet Snow White and Jasmine from Aladdin. They gave the girls magic wands and Jake a sword (dangerous...) and had a wishing ceremony.
Magic Kingdom Day 1
We spent 3 days at Magic Kingdom. The first day we started at the Indy Raceway. That was a favorite of all three kids, but especially Jake....who you can barely see over the dashboard. We rode that ride a couple of times while we were there. As soon as the Hall of Fame opened, we were in line to see the princesses - who Reagan had been whining about meeting since we arrived in Orlando. We met Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle (Beauty and the Beast) and Cinderella and Prince Charming. They were all so sweet to the girls and spent quite a bit of time with them. On our way out the door we won fastpasses for the day AGAIN. Months of schedule planning went out the window. We had fastpasses to use. We hit Pooh's Adventure ride and Peter Pan's flight - both which Reagan screamed through. Who knew they were scary? She did love It's a Small World, but I could only stomache that ride once. We also rode the carousel and even Papa and Nana got on horses. Then we were chosen to be in the new Family Fun Parade as the flag/banner wavers. After a bite to eat at the Starlight Cafe where we ate outside because Reagan was afraid of the singing alien inside, we watched the afternoon parade. Jake needed a nap so he went to Hall of Presidents with Nana and Papa while the girls went with us to ride Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain railroad. should we be surprised that Reagan didn't like either of them?
