Pumpkin Patch

Jeff's friend Joel and his family came to visit us from Georgia this weekend. We took them out to Tate Farms - a favorite local spot in the fall. The kids enjoyed rolling in the corn crib, jumping into the hay, going through the hay maze, riding in the corn train, and taking the hayride out to the field to pick out pumpkins. Rachel was able to do most everything (except jumping into the hay) evne with her arm in a split....which she has to wear for 2 more weeks after getting the pins removed yesterday. At least now we can take it off and on to get dressed and take a bath.

Truck Day

While I went scrapbooking for 14 hours on Saturday, Jeff took the kids to Truck Day at the science museum. (I'm not sure who had more fun.) The saw in firetrucks, tractors, ice cream trucks, humvees, etc. and got to climb in them too. They all really enjoyed it, but Jake seemed to be the most at home. He looked like he wanted to start one up and take it for a spin.

Veggie Tales

Broccoli, Celery, Gotta be Veggie Tales! We had fun last night at the Veggie Tales concert - although we could have done without the 30 minute intermission. The funniest part of the show was when Bob lost his eye pupil.
My favorite song was "Cheeseburger". By the second half of the show, Reagan was getting up and dancing in the Pew - or maybe I should say "foot praise" instead of dancing? However, at the end when streamers flew out of the ceiling she had a meltdown of all meltdowns because she didn't get one. "We should have sat over there!"

Scarecrow Trail

We went to the Botanical Garden with our friends from playgroup. This time of year the trail is lined with scarecrows. Rachel buddied around with Jennifer. Reagan practiced on the "balance beam". Jake tried picking up a pumpkin and despite the fact that I said we weren't playing in the water today, the temptation was too great.

Grammie comes to visit

The gkids were happy that Grammie came to visit, but not all were cooperative getting their picture made.

Jake learns to ride a trike

Not being able to ride her tricycle herself, Rachel was very helpful trying to teach Jake to ride.

Tantrum

No idea what this fit was about, but it must have been over something important...look at all those tears.
