Big Wheels

Grandma bought the kids big wheels to use at her house. The girls love their talking Dora bikes

= so does Jake. Here Rachel is helping push him, since his feet don't quite reach the peddles yet.

Fishin

We went fishing with Grandpa and Uncle Verne while on his farm. The fish weren't biting much but Grandpa was able to catch a HUGE catfish - 8 pounds or so, and with a kiddie Superman fishing pole. Jake didn't care to be shown how to do it. Even though it was his first time, he thought he knew what he was doing - just sticking his pole in the water.

MN Children's museum

It was supposed to rain (it didn't) on Monday so my mom and I took the kids to the MN Children's museum. they had fun pretending they were ants, splashing in a stream, make believing in a fairy tale, and painting their faces.

Reliving our wedding

While in Minnesota, Jeff and I went over to Northwestern chapel where we were married. Rebekah also tried her wedding dress on. the girls were in awe. mommy was told she was pretty like Cinderella.

Jake's 2nd 2nd bday party

We celebrated Jake's 2nd bday in Minnesota. Doesn't everyone get 2 parties. He was a little quicker opening his presents this time, after getting a little practice. He only read 1/2 of a book before opening the next one.

NE Missouri Fair

We took the kids to the NE Missouri Fair in Kirksville (near Uncle Verne's farm). we were disappointed that there weren't more animals (a few pigs and cows, but only 1 rabbit and 1 chicken on the first night of the fair), but the rides made up for it.
