Beep Beep

Jake hasn't mastered the tricycle yet, so he gets to play in the Beep Beep. He uses his legs to propel himself backwards. He hasn't figured out how to go forward yet, but he has figured out how to run over his sisters. (Here Jake and Reagan are having a battle of wills.) Occasionally, he gets frustrated with the Beep Beep for some reason or another and hits it and pushes it away. I wonder who he gets his temper from?

ready to go to the beach.

Rachel opens Bday presents from Grammie

4 days before her birthday we told Rachel that she could open her presents for Grammie - after Jake woke up from nap. She didn't even wait for him to get his diaper changed. We noticed she was missing and found her already opening the presents. We were able to catch her before she opened too many more. She was generous letting Reagan help her open some too.

We all made our hair crazy. (Mommy looks like she did in highschool.)

The Day After it Snowed

The day after it snowed, was over 60 degrees and we were able to go outside and play. The girls rode their tricycles in the cul-de-sac while Jake practiced stepping up and down on the curb.

I let the girls pick out their clothes. On this particular morning Rachel picked out a striped shirt and striped pants. I tried to convince her that it wasn't the best option, but she assured me that it matched - and it does, that is the problem.
