Art

Rachel and Reagan did clay and painted it in art class. the assignment was to make something out of clay. Reagan made an octopus (with 6 legs because 8 wouldn't fit) and Rachel made a snowman.

Multitasking

Jake eats a popsicle while kicking a ball with mommy.

Worm lady

The girls dug up worms with the sole purpose to sort them by size - one frisbee for each - small, medium, and large. Reagan stated "I'm going to be a worm lady when I grow up....do worm ladies have to read?" (referring to a previous discussion we have had about reading being necessary for most jobs).

BIg Spring Park

In recent years the park was so overpopulated with ducks, that they were becoming aggressive and the kids were scared of them. The newspaper even reported 4 people had been bit by ducks (yes, Jake was one of them). We couldn't even feed them anymore. But since they relocated almost all of the muscovy ducks, we have enjoyed coming to Big Spring park (near the art museum downtown) to feed the ducks. And well, now that there aren't so many ducks, we feed the fish.

When sisters go to art class downtown Huntsville, Jake often gets to go to Earlyworks children's museum with Mommy. Daddy came along with us today.

Sequence

Sequence is now our favorite game. We play it several times a day. Here the girls are playing as a team against daddy but mommy and Jake play too. (Camera was running out of battery.)

Sunday afternoon at the beach

We will be living 20 mins from the beach in FL. And, All I need to say is that I am looking forward to doing this more often. Who needs vacation.

Eglin Air Show

After a morning of house hunting in Niceville, we went to the Eglin Air Show. The girls really enjoyed touring the different airplanes on display. Jake was ready to go home for a nap and created a bit of a challenge. We really enjoyed the Thunderbirds display. Amazing how they fly so close together! We were staying on base, but it took us almost an hour to get back to our room (via car) after the show was over.

Easter at Nana's

We went to Nana's house for Easter this year. It was a short trip but we were happy to see cousin Maddie and our doggies who have been at Nana's house for the past 3 weeks. Praying hard for a contract on our house so the doggies can come home.

Easter Baskets

The Easter bunny visited Nana's house. He brought all 3 kids some sidewalk chalk. then he brought Jake some M&Ms and a Lightening McQueen Puzzle. Rachel got a checkers game and a chocolate easter bunny. Reagan got some fun dip and a princess puzzle.
