Rachel and Reagan did clay and painted it in art class. the assignment was to make something out of clay. Reagan made an octopus (with 6 legs because 8 wouldn't fit) and Rachel made a snowman.

Worm lady
The girls dug up worms with the sole purpose to sort them by size - one frisbee for each - small, medium, and large. Reagan stated "I'm going to be a worm lady when I grow up....do worm ladies have to read?" (referring to a previous discussion we have had about reading being necessary for most jobs).
BIg Spring Park
In recent years the park was so overpopulated with ducks, that they were becoming aggressive and the kids were scared of them. The newspaper even reported 4 people had been bit by ducks (yes, Jake was one of them). We couldn't even feed them anymore. But since they relocated almost all of the muscovy ducks, we have enjoyed coming to Big Spring park (near the art museum downtown) to feed the ducks. And well, now that there aren't so many ducks, we feed the fish.

Eglin Air Show
After a morning of house hunting in Niceville, we went to the Eglin Air Show. The girls really enjoyed touring the different airplanes on display. Jake was ready to go home for a nap and created a bit of a challenge. We really enjoyed the Thunderbirds display. Amazing how they fly so close together! We were staying on base, but it took us almost an hour to get back to our room (via car) after the show was over.
