Circus

We went to the circus this morning. The kids got to meet several of the performers before the show. Most importantly Rachel got a clown nose to wear. We brought our own lunch but somehow still spent $50 on food (the $12 cotton candy was part of that and the other part was Jake eating most of a pizza by himself). They enjoyed the show so much that Jake cried when it was over.

Candyland

Jeff never played Candyland and had to read the instructions, but ended up winning 2 games in a row. (Aren't you supposed to let them win?)

Fold up

Reagan folds herself in half.

Root Canal

Rachel had a root canal on Thursday. She hurt a little bit that day, but by the next day she was back to normal. She got to keep her "clown nose" as a souvenir.

Maybe it's Mabeline

While I cleaned the bathroom, I let the girls get into some of my old makeup. Do I need to say more?

Valentine's

Jeff got the girls Carnations for Valentine's day. Fortunately, we had also gotten Carnations from Chick FilA that day becuase Jake wasn't very happy that he had been left out.

Chuck E Cheese

I hate Chuck E Cheese. I really do. We go there only 2 times a year (if absolutely necessary) - usually as a reward for doing something. This time I promised the girls that if one of them went all night with a dry pull up then we would go to Chuck E Cheese. Reagan was the first one to produce. So I had to hold up to my word and on Friday I took them to Chuck E Cheese.
Why do I hate Chuck E Cheese? Because it isn't easy to keep up with 3 kids there as you feed token after token into the machines. Then eventually the tokens run out and there are usually tears that accompany it. Sure enough there were. Reagan had a huge fit when her tokens were gone.... I just can't wait to go back.

Blocks

Strangely, Reagan resembles Jeff as she assembles Mickey Mouse's clubhouse from Mega Blocks while looking at the directions (under her knee). She even sticks her tongue out like he does (Jake does too - when he is working on something). Jake is a little bit more of a goof.

Dogs?

For those people that forget we actually have dogs, here is a picture of them. Yes, Belle is sleeping upside down. We are not entirely sure she is a dog.

Reading

One of Jake's favorite things is reading. He has a few books that are his favorites that we have
to read over and over "Truck is Stuck", "Smash and Crash" and Sketti Dog. He has more books in his bed than some libraries.

The boats

After going stinky in the bathtub last month, Jake was afraid to sit down in the bathtub. It took

the boats that Grammie got him, to get him over his fear of "stinky in the tub" and actually sit down in the tub.

Rachel DVM

Rachel plays vet and gives Reagan's monkey a shot.

Lion King

Using the plastic animals Reagan gets from Ms. Linda (her sunday school teacher), Jake plays Lion King.

Mary, baby Jesus and the cheerleader

Rachel and Reagan put on a skit about Mary, baby Jesus and the cheerleader. (Must be from The Message Bible).
