McMullan Church Service

Pastor Reagan leads the service dressed in her pink and white gown. The high chair is used as the pulpit. (Not sure why she chooses to sit in the back of Jake's dump truck instead of a chair). She reads from Revelation "Knock and the door will be opened...." and then leads in music with her maraccas. Rachel does a special reading and duet with Jake. However, I do not remember Hakuna Matata ever being sang in church before. This really must be a contemporary service.

A boy and his toys

Jake's favorite toys are his Cars (from the movie). He must have 6 Lightening McQueens. We also got him some GI Joe's for Christmas (to discourage him from playing with his sister's Barbie dolls).

Sesame Street Live

The real reason we went to Chattanooga was to see Sesame Street Live. Jake's favorite part was C is for Cookie - as if that is a surprise. But that was Cookie Monster's only part in the show. He never came back...and Jake kept asking "where's cookie monster?". Elmo is overrated.

Chattanooga Children's museum

We spent a little time at the Chattanooga Children's museum on Saturday. We have been once every year since we moved to AL. It didn't seem quite as big this year - or maybe it's because my kids are getting bigger. They had some fun playing on the indoor playground and in the water. Rachel's favorite thing was painting her face of course.

Playing Babies

Jake even joins in playing Baby Dolls with the girls.

Random pictures

Rachel plays Queen Esther. Reagan picks out her outfit for the day "it matches" - although it might give someone a seizure. And Jake "goes to work" with daddy's hat and cooler.

Play tools with Bompa

Jake had fun playing tools with Bompa.

More time with Grammie and Bompa

Here are some additional photos from Grammie and Bompa's visit after Christmas. Jake did puzzles with Bompa and played the new Monkeys on the Bed game (although he wasn't interested in following the rules). Rachel wore her chef hat and Reagan just gave up at Elefun since she couldn't catch ALL of them.

Santa?

The girls take turn pretending to be Santa while the other one waits in line to tell Santa what they want for Christmas. What is it...358 shopping days til Christmas?

Linus

Jake doesn't do much without his trusty "nigh nigh". Grandpa reads him story and then he is tucked in for nap. He likes to rub his blanket on his face next to his eyes, and between his toes.

Train

Jake has enjoyed having another guy to spend time with this week.

Doll House

One of their favorite presents this year was the doll house Grammie got them. (And although he isn't in the pictures, even Jake likes to play doll house). Yes....the girls are playing doll house in their ballet outfits. I am not sure why I buy anything BUT dress up clothes.
