Happy 4th Birthday Rachel
Rachel had a Little Mermaid theme for her 4th birthday. She picked out the cake and the paper products. Her cousin Maddie, Uncle Jack, and Aunt Sabrina came over to Nana's house for cake and ice cream. Of course Jake and Reagan passed on the ice cream, while Rachel mostly ate ice cream and the icing (no cake).
Happy 4th Birthday Rachel 2
Dressed up like a Princess, Rachel opened up her birthday presents. SHe got lots of them - a stamp set, Moon sand, and games. Her favorite so far has been the two princess dolls - Snow White and Aurora. She and Reagan played with them all the way home from GA. Reagan and Jake also got presents - a cell phone and a truck, but perhaps Nana should have just gotten more than one cell phone since Reagan and Jake kept getting in scuffles over the cell phone.

Riding trikes outside at Nana's
We had warm afternoons in GA and were able to go outside and ride trikes. Jake is riding an old fire truck that Jeff had when he was little. The kids usually fight over who gets to ride it. Jake only knows how to go backwards and here is headed for the ditch. Rachel took a drive into the ditch as well - a much steeper one - while not paying attention to where she was going. Surprisingly, she just got up and rode some more. (Notice the leaf in Reagan's hair. People put flowers in your hair after all, so why not leaves. )
GA Aquarium
We went to the GA aquarium over spring break. It was VERY crowded so we only got a few pictures before there were so many people that we couldn't take pictures anymore. Jake pointed at the fish and tried to get at them. Looks like he wanted a taste too. Reagan especially enjoyed the aquarium this time. She is very interested in animals. Rachel's favorite thing was the 3D movie.

The Zoo
We took a trip to the Birmingham zoo. It was mommy's first time taking all 3 by herself. It was a beautiful day - and actually the girls ended up with sunburns (who would have thought of sun tan lotion on St Paty's day. We hadn't been to the zoo since last summer so this was the first time that Jake was really able to enjoy it. He recognized several of the animals. They lasted 3 1/2 hours - the girls walking the whole way.
