Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma
The Mac Kids weren't ready for Christmas to be over. We opened presents with Grandpa and Grammie on Dec 28. Rachel and Reagan got American girl dolls, turtle necklaces, and multiple books, coloring books etc. Jake got some trucks, Thomas the train accessories and a tool puzzle. The girls made Grammie ornaments (matching ones were also made for Nana). Grammie also got a calender of her Grandkids and an update to her scrapbook.

Santa
Christmas
Each child got 3 gifts from mommy and daddy (just like Jesus got 3 gifts). They tore through their presents so quickly, that mommy and daddy hadn't even had a chance to open any of theirs. Reagan cried when she realized she didn't have any more presents to open....but they helped mommy and daddy open theirs.

Christmas Eve
The girls look forward to opening the doors of the Advent calender every day - and getting their gummies out. (Jake too but he happened to miss out today.) After going to Christmas eve service we read the Christmas story and Twas the Night before Christmas - our family traditions. Of course, the three kids didn't sit still for too long. The girls then put out cookies for Santa - Jake decided to eat his instead.
ICE!
We went to see ICE! in Nashville the day before Christmas. The ice scuptures had a Grinch theme this year. With well below freezing temps we all wore the issued blue coats over our winter coats. Jake thought it was fun at first, but soon got cold. The girls enjoyed the ice slide a couple times, before they too turned into icicles.

3rd visit with Santa
Christmas with Nana and Papa 2
Papa and Nana came to visit us before Christmas this year. We had planned to go to their house in Georgia, but after Jeff had to travel to Hawaii for business right before Christmas, we decided it was easier if they came our way. Rachel and Reagan were ready to open presents as soon as Nana and Papa arrived, but we made them wait until Dec 20. The girls got Clemson shirts and a Princess Dress up trunk (see post below). They also got a coloring pad, Lite Brite, game and jammies from their cousin Maddie (who we didn't get to see this year at Christmas =( . Jake got a train - which he called a Choo Choo and jammies from cousin Maddie, plus a truck, ball, and Clemson shirt from Nana and Papa. We also had a special visit, not from Santa, but from the Stomach bug, who had special greetings for Jake and Rachel.

Rachel's Christmas Party
Can you find Rachel in the first picture? She is peeking from the second row. That is how we viewed most of her singing at the Christmas party. She sang Deck the Halls, Jingle Bells, Away in a Manger and We wish you a Merry Christmas. Her favorite part of the party was opening her presents. She got Play Doh, a book, and lots of bracelets, rings and necklaces from her class mates.
